For over five years now, I’ve enjoyed assisting fellow Monarch users around the world with their challenges on Datawatch’s Monarch online forum, and spotlighting solutions that they can use everyday. Do you or your staff spend hours each week re-keying information? Do you meticulously examine thick report printouts for specific details? Do you summarize your findings in a custom report? It did me. After a whole day of carefully crafting detailed formulas and making sure that the right stuff was going into the right place, multiple times over, I was absolutely exhausted. I mean, I liked the job, it was interesting and challenging work, but the process was killing me. And I’m guessing I’m not alone; you may well be finding yourself in the same situation.

I’m here to tell you that there’s a better way, and it’s easier than you’ve ever imagined.

When you use Monarch and Excel effectively, you’re going to:

  • work with accurate data,
  • spend far less time doing the work,
  • create great looking, readable, usable reports, and
  • get on with other productive uses of your time that allow to contribute even more to your organization than you do already.

Last but not least, you’re going save your company money. How’s it going to feel when you say to your boss “I’m personally going to save this company at least $100,000 this year alone!”, and mean it?
